we can attribute the disdain of mobe down to a few simple targeted things. At whatever particular moment it could be the lack of humor and at other moments the lack of something to say.
People take the things that come to them so seriously and expect everyone to think the "joke" they meant was understood. I like a good joke, hell I married three, and slept with a hundred! I even get a kick out of common sense or the lack thereof in the human race. Why just this last summer there was this poor inept family that were merely victims of "circumstance." A dark comedy! It was sad as they almost lost their child in a horrible vehicle accident but I saw the joke in it...bear with me as this earns it place in disdaindom!...
"Well I had only just come out of the store and Junior wouldn't stop crying but their father wasn't finished you see as he was-er-shopping. Yeah, shopping and we were kinda in a hurry and all so I's puts my baby up on the roof of da car wit my cell phone and my soda! All hell broke loose and Dizz comes running out yelling >get in the car and move it bitch!< so's I grabs my shit and we sped off!"
(actual conversation between a young lady of impoverished means to a police officer after getting pulled over and her boyfriend arrested on theft and drug possession and herself for wreckless endangerment and child neglect and abuse)
It would seem that her "shit," soda and her cell, made it into the car but that big Pooh covered car seat was just too small to miss. Or better yet-they thought traffic would move to the right and left like it does in those cool car adds because they had a "baby-siren" on top as if they were firemen! Hell I got a million of them! Why didn't she grab the kid and bring it in the car, two extra seconds! Wouldn't have been found or spotted so easily or had any charges brought against her whatsoever as she didn't have drugs on her person nor robbed the convenience store! She would have been charged with being the driver of the getaway car and with a good public defender gotten out with probation, lesson learned, and maybe gone on to school and made something of herself and forgot all about Dizz...She lost her kid(wasn't his what a surprise!)and got time for her "dizzy" crime.
So this blog is dedicated to all the fine moms out there of all ages who take in wee ones not their own. It is dedicated to the moms out there that put their kid over their knee and instilled some wisdom from the school of hard knocks. I dedicate this especially to all the wouldn't be moms and dads who were mature enough and smart enough to put a rubber on! ...And finally, this is dedicated to my little Lobo. She has made me a better mom than I could ever imagined and made me see that there ARE things that are more important than jobs, cars, cell phones, etc...
There are things that I find funny in this world. And I don't expect all others to share in my cruel ironic humor. But I don't find it funny when people do stupid shit to each other or against one another. The disregard of living things is what is wrong with today. It isn't funny to tell your mom you will call at 7pm and not ring the phone, goes the same for spouses or bosses or friends. It isn't funny when you play with another's emotions and laugh like their feelings don't matter at all, and then "victimize" yourself because they got mad at the hurt and act as if YOU were damaged. It isn't funny to forget your kid or forget your anniversary but remember the name of the cashier at Bass Pro Shop who sold you the deluxe bi-platform tree stand that can withstand 500lbs of weight three falls ago. It isn't funny when we tell our kids to clean their rooms every day and they say they forgot but hear a song on the radio with a dirty word and have the lyrics memorized by the end of the day! Be nice to each other, be good to yourselves and be humble in the face of another's "fails" for you yourself are no better!~mobe's love to you all and her all to her loves
